We are already at number 1,990,042 and can’t wait to celebrate the 2 millionth shoe donation!

Shoes are dropping in with the visitors at our door. They are also coming in virtually through online donations and boxes of them are being trucked in after shoe drives are held in different parts of the country. We are finally nearing 2 millionth shoe!

So why are we so excited about the 2 millionth pair?

Shoes have an enormous impact in the lives of underprivileged children. Sometimes, shoes are the doorway to an education. Other times, they can help prevent infections or diseases. They can also raise the self esteem of children who don’t have parents to provide for their needs.

To celebrate the donations and the smiles that come from each pair of shoes, we have decided to document the travels of the 2 Millionth Shoe all the way from your hands (or the click of your mouse) to the feet of the child who will wear them.

Our cameras will follow the packaging, shipping, overseas travel and delivery of your pair of shoes—as well as the smiles it will bring.
